Shuttle America - Maintenance Records Clerk
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for maintaining aircraft flight hours and cycle utilization to a high degree of accuracy.
Daily data entry of work order packages in the Maintenance computer system including update accomplishment of inspections and maintenance functions.
Ensures accurate and up-to-date information is maintained regarding the time status of all airframes, components, accessories, appliances and others that may be required.
Ensures all aircraft flight logs are accounted for, maintained and distributed to the appropriate departments.
Maintains component airworthiness certification documents in accordance with Shuttle America’s standards and FAA regulations.
Review and file the aircraft work packages on a daily basis.
Prepares aircraft records for permanent archival system.
Maintain and update all manufacturers’ manuals, Service Bulletins, Service Letters, company manuals and ensure copies are distributed to the appropriate departments.
Maintain a control log of all company and manufacturers manuals by department and their updated revision status.
Effectively coordinate with the FAA as needed to maintain the integrity of the maintenance records department.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to type and use a computer keyboard with sufficient speed to meet demands of job, including a working knowledge of Word and Excel.
Able to read documents, follow instructions, learn and understand office procedures.
Must be able to perform mathematical computations.
Must possess excellent organizational skills.
Position requires weekend and some holiday work.
Must work under time constraints to accomplish assignments and projects.
Ability to work well with others as part of a team, and work well under stressful situations.
Must be able to effectively communicate verbally.
