EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES:

DISPATCHER

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Dispatchers report to the Director of the System Control Center. 
Prepare dispatch releases and dispatch aircraft and crews.
Monitor weather along Shuttle America routes and at destination and alternate airports.
File and amend flight plans with FAA facilities.
Monitor progress of flights.
Coordinate with the Maintenance Controller to resolve items that may affect flight schedule.
Coordinate information related to the flight schedule from crews, stations, maintenance, management and other sources. 
Cancel or re-dispatch flights that cannot operate safely as planned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
At least 23 years of age
Right to work in the USA
Dispatcher license
Prefer one year of experience, but willing to train the right candidate.
Flexibility in work schedule, including ability to work nights,
weekends and holidays.
Drug Test Required
