 FLIGHT ATTENDANT CAREER GUIDE
REQUIREMENTS
Our Flight Attendants perform a wide variety of services related to the safety and comfort of our passengers while following established In-flight guidelines. We are looking for genuine and enthusiastic professional service oriented personalities with the ability to present solutions, products, and services that create customer loyalty. The successful candidates must possess exceptional communication skills, a dedication to exceptional customer service, a positive conservative professional image, a willingness to work a varied schedule, the ability to perform physically demanding activities and an ability to control personal emotional responses and act appropriately under high levels of stress. Additional qualifications include, but are not limited to:
- Must be 21 years of age to begin the interview process
- Must be able to successfully complete a 10-year background check, FBI fingerprint check and drug screening.
- Must possess a high school diploma or GED
- Must have the legal right to work in the United States and must be able to travel in and out of the country without restriction.
- Must have a valid passport before attending the training class. If you do not currently possess a current passport, you must expedite your application and bring the receipt with you to class.

- Must be able to operate all emergency exits and aircraft equipment, using all the necessary movements and force up to and including 70 pounds.
- Must be willing to relocate to an assigned crew base.
- Must be willing to adhere to a strict uniform dress code which includes no visible tattoos or multiple piercings.

Bases are awarded during training based on the seniority in the class and according to the needs of our company at that time. Not all bases will be available.
- Chautauqua Airlines: Cleveland, OH, Columbus, OH, Grand Rapids, MI, Indianapolis, IN, New York (LaGuardia), New York, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Chicago (O’Hare), Illinois, Louisville, KY and St Louis, MO
- Republic Airlines: Columbus, OH, Washington DC (Reagan National),Indianapolis, IN, Greensboro, NC, Kansas City, MO, Philadelphia, PA, Pittsburgh, PA, Denver, CO and Milwaukee, WI
- Shuttle America: Atlanta, GA, Columbus, OH, Indianapolis, IN, New York (LaGuardia), NY. and Chicago (O’Hare), IL
